Alexandra Cimmiyotti is a Senior Vice President for the San Francisco Local Governments Ratings Team , covering municipal credits in Arizona, California and Washington. Prior to joining the San Francisco team, she was an Assistant Vice President for the New York Local Governments Ratings Team. Alexandra serves as a rating committee chair on credits nationally for local governments. She also leads the public finance department’s investor outreach strategy, helping coordinate engagement priorities and strengthen communication with key market participants.
Alexandra is an executive council board member of the Women in Public Finance Northern California Chapter and served on the Board of California Society of Municipal Analysts for seven years.
Prior to joining Moody’s, Alexandra held Vice President positions at Prager and Company, as well as Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, and was an Assistant Director for undergraduate admissions at Columbia University.
Alexandra holds a MA from Teachers College Columbia University and a BA from San Diego State University.
