Mark Schmidt, CFA, is an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley and leads Municipal Strategy Research. His team has ranked in both the Institutional Investor and Smith's All-Star awards. He has over a decade of experience in municipal securities and broader fixed income markets. Mark began his career as a fixed income specialist for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. Additionally, he worked as a trading desk credit analyst. Mark earned his MBA from Columbia University and his BS in International Economics from Georgetown University. He is on the Board of the Philadelphia Area Municipal Analyst Society. Additionally, he is a member of CFA Institute, the National Federation of Municipal Analysts, and the SIFMA Municipal Securities Committee.
